My work lives at the intersection of logic and imagination. With a background in theoretical computer science and a career in public health digital information systems, painting is where I reclaim my creativity. I work primarily with acrylics on stretched canvas — a medium that lets me move fast, take risks, and layer or erase as I go.
My current body of work spans two distinct yet increasingly interconnected directions: geometric abstraction and space-themed realism. Early on, these emerged as parallel interests — precise, ordered abstracts grounded in color theory, and more representational scenes inspired by science fiction and space sciences. Recently, I’ve been exploring ways to bridge the two, rendering imagined or speculative environments through a geometric lens. This hybrid approach allows me to experiment with contrast, value, and hue — using the structure of geometry to reframe the vastness and complexity of space.
At its core, my practice is a personal space for curiosity and experimentation — a counterpoint to the structured, digital world I work in professionally. Right now, my intent is simple: to share what I make. To open up that private process and invite others into the visual questions I'm exploring — about color, form, imagination, and the strange beauty of the unreal.
